The Cache-Rich Association of REALTORS® is an organization established to maximize the success of its members. It is a professional organization requiring ethical standards of practice and encouraging cooperation between members.
As a member of the CRAR, you are also a member of the Utah Association of REALTORS® (UAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR.) For more information about your state and national membership, please contact the UAR at www.utahrealtors.com, and the NAR at www.realtor.org.
Multiple Listing Service
As a member of the CRAR, you may elect access the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which provides a full range of computer-based options, including: area residential and commercial listings, e-mail, and prospecting, financial functions such as buyer qualification estimator, loan amortization and investment and depreciation analysis. The system is completely “Broker Load” and geographically covers the Utah/Idaho border on the north through Washington County on the south.
Member Participation Committees
The CRAR office invites all members to participate on committees that make a difference for the coming year. The committees are made up entirely of REALTORS®, and Affiliate members who want to give back to the industry and community by volunteering their time.
Education
Each month we offer continuing education courses. The state requires each agent to have 18 hours of CE credit within a two-year period before license renewal. The state requires both “CORE” classes, as well as elective classes. The Association works hard to schedule a range of both CORE and elective classes, to be held right at our board office.
Government Affairs
The CRAR is actively involved in all political issues that impact the real estate industry and closely monitors the local, state, and national legislative bodies. Agents are encouraged to donate generously to the Political Survival Fund (PSF.)
Communications
As a member you will receive information from us in two ways
- www.cacherich.com was created to be a tool for members to stay up to date using site features.
- Notices for events and classes to be sent directly to your email.
Board Events
We organize a monthly business meeting where agents have the opportunity to interact with other agents and affiliates. They are also able to hear what is going on in the Industry, Community, and Association each month.
Home Tour
The CRAR offers two property tours for members to view in Cache-Valley; South Tour and North Tour. This is a good opportunity for potential networking opportunities with other REALTORS® and affiliate, and to pre-view new homes on the market. For more information on home tour, please refer to the web site.
Key Boxes
The CRAR provides lockbox keys to access listings along the Wasatch Front from Cache Valley to Utah County. This provides a secure way to protect clients and give them peace of mind so they will know what is happening with their property, while at the same time providing easy access for your fellow REALTORS®. Agents must sign a ActiveKey lease Agreement before they can have access to a key.
Library
The CRAR has a library in which agents are welcome to check out audiotapes, books, or videos. The agents are not allowed to check out videos that currently give CE credit, these must be viewed during business hours at the Association office.
