Continuing Education

The Cache-Rich Association of REALTORS® will make its office available for Education and Continuing Education Courses, as long as the schedule permits, during regular business hours. Educational Courses may be scheduled for the use for all members, including Affiliate Members. The Association will do its best to offer a range of education courses, at costs as low as possible, to assist members in successfully completing state mandated continuing education requirements.

License Renewal Information as of 2010

First time renewals must take the 12 hour New Agent Course as part of the required 18 hours. The Division will not allow you to renew for the first time unless this course has been completed. Ongoing Agents may complete this course as well, as part of the 18 hour renewal requirement.

Ongoing renewals will need 18 CE credit hours, of which, 9 hours must be Core credit hours.

The Association encourages education in addition to the required hours set by the Division to improve knowledge of our industry. Agents should keep in mind that there may be a delay when uploading completed CE hours to the Utah Division of Real Estate. Therefore, the Division recommends completing all CE no later than the 15th of the month your license is set to expire.  You will not be able to renew unless all hours  have been uploaded to the RELMS renewal system.  For questions, please contact the Division at (801) 530-6747 or visit their website at www.realestate.utah.gov.

When taking CE courses at the Association office, please remember the following:

  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Early registration is strongly encouraged, as we are limited to 46 participants per class.
  • Payment (if required) and registration must both be received in order to reserve your seat.

A great resource for taking online CE course is The CE Shop. Utah & Idaho classes available.
